Our mission is simple: spark curiosity early by connecting K-12 students to hands-on, real-world STEM experiences that ignite wonder and build confidence.
STEMseedlings sprouted from a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves the chance to dream big and build the skills to make those dreams real. Inspired by our own journey in science, we saw how early exposure to STEM-and caring, well-equipped mentors-can change lives and communities.
STEMseedlings exists to bridge that gap for K-12 students and fresh graduates by bringing hands-on STEM learning to classrooms, empowering educators with disruptive tools, and sparking ideas that will shape a better world. Together, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders and innovators-one seedling at a time.

I used to play with bubbles for fun. After joining STEMstarter workshop, i built my DIY soap-making station at home, then taught it to my classmates during science week. My teacher now calls me a 'kid chemist'!!
I joined the Natural Explorers challenge with a butterfly net, a sketchpad and endless questions. A few months in, I could identify 12 different species of bugs in my backyard.
I participated in the Code & Complete challenge not knowing how to write a single line of code. Two months later, my team built a prototype app that connects food vendors with unsold meals to shelters. It won 2nd place and now i'm planning to scale it into a startup
Thanks to the full sponsorship from STEMseedlings, our Kiddies Sprout Summer Camp was transformed into a science wonderland! From hands-on coding projects to AI-powered games and exciting STEM explorations, the kids were buzzing with curiosity every single day from July 1st to 30th, 2025.
At first, I hesitated to sign up for the robotics club- because i was the only girl. But after my bot beat the boys in back-to-back challenges, they now call me, 'The Code Queen'. I now mentor two younger girls weekly.
I joined a STEMseedlings workshop in Lagos during my school break. I had never written a line of code or ouched a circuit board before. Within 6 weeks, i built a working prototype of a solar-powered water purifier for my community using recycled materials, an Arduino board, and grit.
I joined the STEMflow upskilling programafter switching from a non-STEM background. Within 6 months, I landed an internship at a local fintech startup. Today, he's leading a team building blockchain solutions for microloans.
As a mentor in the Peer-to-Peer STEM program, I didn't just show up - I showed others what's possible. My workshops in Makoko now reach 100+ girls monthly. My dream is to launch Nigeria's first all-girls robotics academy.
I was a third year Electrical Engineering student when i found STEMseedlings online. I signed up to mentor a group of Core Youth and realized there was no STEM club in my area. So I started one, I now lead a weekly club of 35 teenagers, runs robotics weekend workshops, and has helped 3 of her mentees land university scholarships.
